The Space Place Observatory (formerly the Gingin Observatory) has made an interplanetary transition whilst here on Earth!
We relocated the observatory on the 1st of October 2015 to the scenic location of Toodyay Western Australia. We also changed our name to reflect this new location, we hope you love it?
The area has wonderful dark night skies, perfect for the very best astronomy views on offer. Our new address is 163 Howard Road, Julimar. Toodyay WA 6567.
We operate from the beautiful Cartref Park, well known for it's native bush-land gardens and Australian wildlife.
Why not come earlier during the day and wander through our native Australian gardens before viewing the night sky with us? (The gardens are open most months of the year. Fridays – Saturdays and some Sundays.
Please phone for more information on opening times and days. Visits are by appointment ONLY. Entry fee of $5.00 per person.
